The manager of Poonam Panday stated on Friday that the actor, model, and reality TV personality passed away on Thursday night from cervical cancer. The news of her passing was also announced by her team through a post on her official Instagram account. But Poonam turns out to still be alive. On Saturday, she announced the same on Instagram with a few videos. Celebrities and social media users alike are criticising her.

"I am alive," she declared. Cervical cancer did not claim my life. Regretfully, I am unable to make that statement about the countless numbers of women who have lost their lives to cervical cancer." She continued discussing the illness. Poonam commented, "I feel compelled to share something significant with you all; I am here, alive," along with the video. Though it didn't take my life, cervical cancer has sadly taken thousands of women's lives due to a lack of awareness about treatment options.
