The Steamforged Dark Souls tabletop range has sold more than 500,000 units at a the total price of close to $40 million. Mat Hart, Creative director and chief creative officer at OSRS gold Games, stated: "Dark Souls has been a key IP for Steamforged since its inception, and is a game that is very dear to our hearts, so the fact that we finally brought Dark Souls to the tabletop as a roleplaying game very exciting for us and for the players."
This news comes in conjunction with the release of an upgrade for Old School Runescape with a special focus on Iron Man. Along with bug fixes, the new update includes a group chat as well as a loot and loot broadcast, including quest completion, combat achievements , and milestones for level earning an announcement in the new chat. According to the dev blog, "each set costs more than the next, and multiple sets can be purchased in one." The first expansion costs 1million GP and the final set is priced at 500 million GP.
Over in Runescape, Jagex are bringing one of the most sought-after available in-game items for a very limited period of time.
